Packing for Your Ski Vacation

You have made your plans and you are excited about your ski vacation. The less enjoyable part about a vacation is the packing and unpacking. Packing for a ski trip is cumbersome. Rent your equipment when you arrive.

Find out if ski shops in the area purchase used equipment.

You have the option of purchasing new equipment if you can afford it when you get to the ski lodge. In some areas, there may be ski shops that purchase used equipment. Pack your bulky clothes in the box and mail it or send it by UPS or FedEx. The hotel will hold the box for you until you arrive. When you are ready to leave, you mail the package back to your home. Mailing the package to the hotel and back to yourself should be included in your budget for your vacation. It probably will not cost less than fifty dollars each way.
